This is my sister, Jodi, and today is her birthday. 🎂
We are as thick as theives and as close as a hand in a glove. Last summer, she moved away from the nest and started a new chapter of her life in Denver because she got an amazing opportunity and wanted a new adventure for her family. 🚛
Separation is hard. 💔
Doing something completely new outside your comfort zone is hard. Change is hard.
But it's also liberating and exciting and yields great things when you lean into it.
As hard as it was to watch the moving van pull away, and the tears that have been shed because there is now physical distance, I can't help but shout from the rooftops "I"M PROUD OF YOU!" 👯‍♂️ Happy birthday, J!!!!! 🎁

Are you living your life or is life living you? When I started my business 12 years ago, a client gave me a keyring that I staill have to this day. One one side it says, "Live the Life You Love" and on the other "Love the Life you Live." It's a daily reminder that life is to be lived but it also motivates me to remember that I am the designer of my life. Waking up in the morning doesn't mean you are going to love life. A life you love has to be designed by YOU!
